The Model Machine Shop

Welcome to the Machine Shop. Grab a chair, a cup of coffee and set yourself down next to the stove. If your going to stand next to the machines and watch please put on your safety glasses and secure all loose clothing. Don't want you to get hurt on your visit here.

I'm not a seasoned machinist but have a few years under my belt. When I was employed at a machine tool industry I learned to run the big machines, both manual and CNC. I also took machine shop class in high school. Learned the basics of machine tools. Also took two years at a vocational school.

Projects here will be ongoing in conjunction with the other shops listed in the main page. Some projects have been started many years ago, while some be will starting. As the projects progress their progress will be reported here in words and pictures when time warrants.

For those that want to supervise, it'll cost "YOU" $75 an hour. For those that might learn something or have a suggestion, it's free.
